General Disciplinary Principles
All faculty and staff are expected to maintain high standards of honesty, integrity, punctuality, and professionalism.
Employees must comply with institutional policies, directions of supervisors, and terms of employment.
Disciplinary action will be proportionate, fair, and follow due process.
Acts of Misconduct
The following acts are considered misconduct and may invite disciplinary action:
Chronic absenteeism or habitual late arrival
Breach of confidentiality or misuse of institutional data
Harassment, bullying, or discrimination
Plagiarism or academic dishonesty
Insubordination or refusal to follow lawful instructions
Theft, fraud, or misappropriation of college property
Unauthorized use of institutional assets or name
Disruption of academic or administrative operations
Performance and Efficiency
Faculty and staff must meet the minimum expected standards of teaching, research, or assigned duties.
Persistent underperformance, poor student feedback, or failure to complete assignments without justification will be considered inefficiency.
Performance appraisals will be conducted annually and may be tied to contract renewal, increments, or promotions.
