The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students of the United College of Physical Therapy (UCPT), Classes of 2029 and 2030, visited Dar-ul-Sukoon in 2026 as part of an educational field trip. The visit provided students with an opportunity to interact with individuals with special abilities and observe the institute’s compassionate approach to care, education, and rehabilitation.
The experience enhanced students’ understanding of empathy, inclusion, and patient-centred care while reinforcing the importance of compassion and respect in the healthcare profession. The visit was both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impact on the students.
