In grand celebration of the World Physical Therapy Day on 8th September, the entirety of United College of Physical Therapy lit up the college walls in their characteristic colours of blue and white. The event was graciously started in the name of Allah via a tilawat by student Tasbiha Noor, followed by the national anthem and encouraging addresses by the Dean Brig. Rt. Proff. Dr. Khalid Hassan Mahmood and, Dr. Danish Mohammad Khan, and Dr Erum Tanveer. The event was then kicked off with a ear splitting cheer, and hilarious and crowd pleasing skit performances by groups of students, a mushaira, a poetry reading, and many excellent video projects of awareness campaigns and donation drives were shown during the course of the day. Many students displayed their artistic talents in the Physical Therapy Art Competition as well, and were awarded for their hard work and dedication to their craft. The launch of the annual magazine UCPT TIMES was also celebrated with a brief presentation by student editor Kiran Konain, followed by a cake cutting ceremony. The entire event was expertly coordinated by the hosts Alizeh and Iqra, and was topped off with success after the prize and certificate distribution ceremony. Soon after, students and faculty all gathered outside for a group picture, signifying the unity that was felt through out the celebration of the World Physical Therapy Day.
